Money Raised - Wendlebury Fete and Hawaiin Night

We are pleased to report that the Hawaiian Night and the Village Fete were a great success. This note is to update you on the money raised and who it has been donated to: -

  • Hawaiian Night: - This great night raised £1800, thanks to everyone who helped and especially Lee Jones’s band for the great music. How is the money being spent?
    • £200 is going to be used to by a small rotary mower for getting into tight places in the churchyard that the ride on cannot fit.
    • £400 is being given to the churchyard maintenance fund for ongoing repairs to mowers, petrol etc.
    • £600 is being donated to the Village Hall
    • £600 is being donated to the Church
  • Village Fete: - Despite the rather cold wind the Fete was well attended and finished in great style with some rocking music from the Rolling Bones. Thanks once again to everyone who helped.
    • The event raised £1400.
    • £700 is being donated to the Village Hall
    • £700 is being donated to the Church
  • Village Barbecue:-
    • The Village BBQ on the 26th June had great weather and the support from the village made the event a successful and enjoyable evening
